From the 2009 President - Kip Carr

First, as the newly-elected president of the College Park Historical Society for 2009, I'd like to thank you for your support of the College Park Historical Society, and ask you to consider becoming a member of our society, if you haven't done so already.

This year we'll continue working to preserve the rich history of College Park by beginning to inventory and catalog in our archives, so you're participation involvement and support will definately mean a lot in the coming year. The mission of CPHS is to collect and preserve the history of College Park through documents, photographs and other items of historical significance.

We are already off to a great start for 2009. Our membership drive at the annual Historic College Park Arts Festival last September was a success. CPHS nearly doubled out total membership! With your continue support, we look forward to making 2009 a success.
